Where are you from?

I grew up an hour outside of Boston, Ma in a town

called Westford, MA. I currently reside in the South

Shore, specifically Weymouth, MA. I have always

been in Massachusetts but have dreams of traveling

throughout the entirety of the United States over a

period of a few years, taking in all that it has to offer!

How far do you travel for sessions?

I work within the New England region and am very willing to travel throughout. I do charge a travel fee depending on location for distances round-trip longer than 40 miles. I am located in South Shore (Weymouth) for location reference.

How long have you been a photographer and what got you started?

I started with photography about 12 years ago when I saw a great deal on a Nikon D3300 and have always been intrigued with astrophotography. I set out to learn and create my own composures of the Milky Way Galaxy and from that point on I got hooked. Fast forward 12 years later and I have spread my skills to other subjects such as landscapes, portraits, and life events. I have heard great feedback from friends and family of my stylization and wanted to share it with the world.

What age ranges do you work with, I only see young adults in your portfolio?

Great question! Yes, being in my 20's myself, I have many contacts with young professionals starting their careers. Because of this many are in transitional periods of graduation and moving into the job force, things that both require professional photography. This just happens to make it a self-fulfilling prophecy. I will work with all ages 18 up to capture the perfect moment. For families, I will photograph younger children, but only as a group rather than individually.

How does COVID-19 change the session process?

I am still doing sessions regularly even with COVID-19 restrictions and safety measures. All staff are fully vaccinated. Thankfully most of the lenses I use to capture your moments need at least 6 feet, so don't worry about close contact. I will be wearing a mask for the duration of the session. After the session, there are no other required in-person meetings to get the end-result images. If you have any further questions about this feel free to reach out. My mask may come off on rare occasions, but only from a reasonable distance if it causes any fogging up of my equipment.

How far in advance should I book a session with you?

Due to COVID-19, my schedule has opened up quite a lot. In general, three or four weeks ahead of time gives enough room for us to talk and get ready for the session. I am also open to scheduled meetings up to even six months out. I can work around booking a session one week beforehand, though I cannot guarantee availability.

Is there a booking fee?

Yes, there is a booking fee depending on the booking session. Individual and group photoshoots both have booking fees of $50 and $200 respectively. This fee is NOT a deposit. The booking fee is a portion of the total. For instance, if you book an individual session for $175 with a $50 booking fee, you still only pay a total of $175. The booking fee portion is to guarantee your session is scheduled and no one else can book that time-frame. The rest of the costs are due to receive access to your album. Note that the adventure outing photoshoot is due all upfront due to the complexity and time needed for the shoot.

What should I wear?

Wear whats makes you comfortable and what makes you, you. I would consider dressing up for things such as professional headshots and senior portraits. However, this is totally up to you, if you want to wear shorts and a t-shirt, go for it! I can provide recommendations for you if asked.

Can I include my pet?

Absolutely, one pet is at no extra cost! I love including pets as part of a shoot. If you tell me ahead of time what kind of pet (cat, dog, mongoose, etc...) I can bring some treats to ease their time.

I've never done a photoshoot, will you help me with poses?

You bet! Our services are provided to help you get candid natural photos of you looking your best. I have no problems helping get you to show their natural beauty. We will guide you to the perfect photo and that is guaranteed.

How many photos do you take per session?

In short, a lot! Somewhere in the range of 200-800 for a 1-hour session. However, a lot of these images are duplicates so many will get tossed for the best of the bunch. I am very nit-picky about what is worthy of my quality. The end count of processed images is fully dependent on many variables, but mostly due to the session you chose to book with my team.

Where should the session occur?

Depends on what you are looking for! I can shoot in your office, home, or any other of your properties. I can also do urban settings such as cities. For outdoor settings, parks, yards, gardens and other such locations make for great shoots! As a tip, some sun cover from trees or other objects help me to get better lit environments, making the end result even better.

How long does a session last?

The sessions last as long as they are specified on the booking page. 1 hour for individual sessions, 3 hours for group sessions, and though the adventure sessions are specified as 6 hours, it will vary due to the location and activity factors.

Do you offer digital files?

Yes, you will have availability to receive multiple digital images when booking a session. Additional digital images not outlined in the booking are available at a cost. If you have any further questions about digital packages don't hesitate to reach out.

What kind of prints are offered?

Our store is set up through a professional 3rd party printing company that provides a variety of great options. Prints on photo paper, metal, acrylic, and canvas are available. We also have a bunch of fun options such as mugs, t-shirts, phone cases, pillows, and more to choose from.

What kind of photo-editing modifications do you do?

The only edits done within the photos are to enhance the image. I WILL NOT do any body modifications to the image such as make you look thinner, change hair color, etc. I will smooth skin, clean up acne and other blemishes and adjust lighting, brightness, contrast for you. The goal is to keep you looking like you while removing any blemishes that take away from that. Please do not ask for body modifications because the answer will always be no.

If I order prints, will they come with your logo/watermark?

Anything purchased from the online store within your album will have the watermark logo removed so you can appreciate the full image.

How long does it take to get our pictures back?

Depending on my schedule it could have as quick as a one-week turnaround. However, you can expect to see the digital proofs from your session within 2-3 weeks. Larger groups may expect longer wait times, but it is fully dependent on group size and how full my schedule is.

Can I get the unedited photo?

No, I do not offer the purchase of unedited images. I only released images to clients deemed high enough quality to represent my image and skills as a photographer. It does not do the photo justice to leave it as it came out of the camera. I have a significant portion of clients from word of mouth and because of this, I do not want anything being released that does not represent my work.

 

How long do I have to order my photos?

Your album link will remain available for six months. This will give you ample time to purchase any print or get any digital download you need. After that time I will close the album. Nothing is ever really gone forever since I store backups for all my work. If you wish to see your album again after that time period has ended, notify me, and for $20 the images will become available again for a period of 14 days.

Why do I have to pay for a digital file when it is not a physical product?

This is a common question but has a very good reason. Basically, once I sell that digital file I can generate no more profits from my work on that image. It is highly unlikely that a client will purchase any more prints or items for that specific image once they purchase a digital version. Because of this, I have set up my pricing to reflect that, while also providing an affordable price for you.

Do you photography events such as birthday parties and weddings?

We will consider birthday parties but are not actively shooting weddings. Please reach out if you wish to have a birthday or other large gathering event photographed.
