About The Photographer
01. Where did you grow up?
I grew up an hour outside of Boston, Ma in a town called Westford, MA. I currently reside in the Boston area, specifically Brighton, MA. I have always been in Massachusetts but have dreams of traveling throughout the entirety of the United States over a period of a few years, taking in all that it has to offer!
02. How far do you travel for sessions?
Right now I work mainly within the bounds of New England. However, I am willing to travel worldwide for shoots to help meet your needs! Today there is a 30-mile radius of Boston, MA where there is no travel fee. Anything outside of that range will include a fee. If there are flights involved there will be travel + lodging fees applied.
03. How long have you been a photographer and what got you into the trade?
I started in photography ~15 years ago when I saw a great deal on a Nikon D3300 and have always been intrigued with astrophotography. I set out to learn and create my own composures of the Milky Way Galaxy and from that point on I got hooked. Fast forward years later and I have spread my skills to other subjects such as landscapes, portraits, and life events.

Simply put, everyone. All are welcome, no matter what part of the world or affiliations you are. We strive to be as inclusive as possible!

05. How do we book you for the shoot? How far in advance?
To book select "Book Now" on top of the page header. For timing, as early as three weeks ahead of the chosen date typically provides a solid selection of time slots on my calendar, as well as enough time to coordinate your priorities. We have bookings as far as 6+ months out, and have even accommodated last-minute bookings with less than a 48-hour notice, so nothing to worry about!
06. Is there a booking fee?
Yes, to ensure legitimate bookings somewhere between 25-50% of the booking cost is due upfront depending on the session type. The fee is NOT a deposit and will be included in the overall payment. For example, If the session fee is $200 with a 25% booking fee then $50 is due upfront, with a remaining payment of $150 due day of the session.
07. What should I wear?
Wear what makes you comfortable and what makes you, you. I would consider dressing up for things such as professional headshots and portraits. However, this is totally up to you, if you want to wear shorts and a t-shirt, go for it! I can provide recommendations based on past clients as well.
08. Can I include my pet?
Absolutely, one pet is at no extra cost! We love including pets as part of a shoot. If you tell me ahead of time what kind of pet (cat, dog, mongoose, etc...) I can bring some treats to ease their time. Details on how you would like them incorporated will be required information.
09. I've never done a photoshoot, will you help with poses?
You bet! Our services are provided to help you get candid natural photos of you looking your best. I have no problems helping get you to show their natural beauty. We will guide you to the perfect photo and that is guaranteed.
10. How long is a session?
The session length varies depending on the session type. Please refer to the services & bookings page. Allow for 15 minutes before and after the session time to arrive early or if we need to pivot due to unforeseen circumstances.
11. How many images do you take per session?
In short, as many that are needed to capture the moment! With that said, the packages outline expectations for what you will be receiving for the final product. There could be hundreds of images taken, however many are repeats that get tossed after careful review to make sure on the best quality are provided to you.
12. Where will the session occur?
I will look for your guidance to understand what you are trying to accomplish. This may mean an indoor professional setting with a backdrop which I can provide. In most cases I work with natural light outside. I am happy to work with you by providing locations in the area to get the ball rolling.
Note: Please make sure the location allows photographers, this will be your responsibility to contact the property owners and confirm this.

13. Do you offer digital files?
In short, as many that are needed to capture the moment! With that said, the packages outline expectations for what you will be receiving for the final product. There could be hundreds of images taken, however many are repeats that get tossed after careful review to make sure on the best quality are provided to you.
14. What kind of physical products or prints do you offer?
Once you have access to your gallery you will see many options outside of download access to the gallery images. We utilize multiple professional print labs to provide items such as paper prints, canvas prints, framed prints, Holiday, Celebration, Save-The-Date cards with envelope, as well as other items like photo gallery books.
15. What kind of photo modifications do you perform?
The only edits performed are to enhance the image. I WILL NOT do any body modifications to the image such as make you look thinner, change hair color, etc. I will smooth skin, clean up acne and other blemishes and adjust lighting, brightness, contrast for you. The goal is to keep you looking like you while removing any blemishes that take away from that. Please do not ask for body modifications because the answer will always be no.
16. If I order prints or digitals, will come watermarked?
Anything provided gallery download or purchased image from the online print lab will have the watermark logo removed so you can appreciate the full image.
17. How long until I receive the final images?
Many factors come into play with the turnaround time for your session such as my availability, session volume, package size, group size during session, etc. It is not rare to have a one week turnaround, however expect anywhere from two to three weeks to receive your gallery access. Before the session we will speak on turnaround expectations.
18. Can I obtain the unedited raw images?
Unfortunately no, I do not offer the purchase of raw unedited content. I only release images to clients deemed high enough quality to represent my abilities as a photographer. A large portion of my business is word of mouth so having unedited content with my brand on it does not represent what we are able to provide as a service.
19. How long do I have to access my gallery?
Your contract will describe the length at which the gallery is available to you. By default, they are available for one year. This will give you ample time to download any digitals or purchase any prints from my print lab. There are automatic gallery expiration emails you will receive to make sure you are notified. With that said nothing is ever really gone forever and I still store a backup of all my work elsewhere. Due to limitations of the site, a $10 fee will be applied if you want the album made live again, which then will only be active for 14 days.
20. Why do I have to pay for a digital file when it is not a physical product?
Once I sell that digital file I can no longer generate profits from my work on that image. It is highly unlikely that a client will come back to purchase more prints or other various products using my print lab. Because of this I have set up my pricing to reflect that situation, while still providing an affordably priced package at the highest of quality.

21. Do you photograph events such as parties and weddings?
I am more than happy to work with you on other services not listed on my services page. Please reach out on our contact page with details of your event. However, as of today we are not actively shooting wedding photography, I am happy you to point you towards great wedding photographers who will better be able to assist you on that.
